The house that built me

Posted on

No offense Miranda Lambert. i am not trying to steal your song title, it just is the song of my life, it explains my life so well. well except for the fact its for my grandmothers house. It has just recently sold and i am crushed. I practically grew up there, it was my home for a few months until we got back on our feet. My grandmothers house was always a second shelter to me. well i guess its time to finally take some of my own advice. keep holding on! -jk that was a music joke-

I know i have to be greatful for the fact that it sold, but i guess its hard. being happy isnt awlways easy but you at least have to try. that is why i decided to create this post, and i hope you enjoyed it. i need ideas on more posts please.

the way you are

how many of you have been teased. not to be rude but I am guessing a lot. well in sixth grade i was new to the area and only had two friends, or so i thought. turns out all middle schoolers do is chew up the new kid and spit them right back out. they were nice for a while, then one day out of the blue they pull me aside. “yeah, sorry your annoying, and you don’t talk enough stop hanging out with us” that is all they said as they scurry off to their next class and leave me there crying. that was a few years ago, and now i have friends who love me for who i am, but that day still haunts me. so the reason for this post is not to complain to  all of you… its to tell you, that you are not alone. you can send me comments or questions on your bully encounters.

DOS: Day of silence

Posted on

some people might not support this, but I do and no bad comments about this post please. the day of silence is a day to stand up and fight against gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender bullying. these past celebrations of the DOS have been in the memory of a boy named larry king. larry king was a high school student who was shot and killed because he was GAY.

for all of you who do support lgbt peoples next year please participate in the day of silence. i know i will.

laughter

laughter, it is said to cure disease… so what is it? is it a super pill? is it a drug? no, laughter is a reaction to certain stimuli, fundamentally stress, which serves as an emotional balancing mechanism. ( thank you wikipedia) I dont know why but i have always been able to make people laugh. even if its tickling my three year old cousin, or cracking a joke. making people laugh is something i like to do because it makes me feel happy.

so here i will try to make you laugh.

1. take the F out of way. get it? just dont say it around young children

2.this is just some hilarious quotes: “Flying is learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.” – Douglas Adams,

One day a big group of blondes met in New York to show the world that blondes aren’t dumb.
They begged: “Ask any of us any question, and we will show you that we’re not dumb.”The group caught the attention of a passer by, who volunteered to ask them some questions. He climbed up on a car and randomly picked a blonde out of the crowd.
She got up on the car too and the man asked: “What is the first month of the year?”
The blonde responded: “November?”

“Nope,” said the man. At this point the crowd began to chant, “Give her another chance, give her another chance.”

So the man asked: “What is the capital of the U.S.A ?”
The blonde responded: “Paris?”
So the crowd began chanting again: “Give her another chance, give her another chance.”

The man said: “Okay, but this is the last one. What is one plus one?”
The blonde replied: “Two?”

“Give her another chance, Give her another chance.” screamed the crowd.

that is all i could find on such a short notice

children

Posted on

Hello again. I am so sorry for the fact that I have not posted anything lately. here is what I have learned in the past month: children can make you happier just by saying hello to you. the other day I saw a child go up to an old woman and smile at her. after that the old woman seemed to be happy. I don’t know what it is about children it might just be their attitude, but they seem to be the reason i am posting today.

I was confused and accidentally deleted the one comment I have gotten. but ill post an answer anyways: If you really want a dog, do research and set up an agreement with your parents. If they still say no, try to let it be until they think you are ready to take on that kind of responsibility. I have three dogs right now, but these dogs were not my decision in getting. When I wanted a duck I did research and waited, I even made a little duck house out of wood. eventually on my birthday my grandmother gave me the money to go out and buy one. From what I know you need to show your parents you are responsible by taking on more chores around the house. if you truly change, they might consider it.
